The South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce, the South Haven Convention & Visitors Bureau, and many local businesses and community members, have partnered with the South Haven Area Recreation Authority to build our first community disc golf course! The course is now open year round (weather permitting) and is free to use!
The Blue Coast Artists has seven member studios located between South Haven and Saugatuck, featuring everything from handmade pottery to blown glass. In addition to a handful of galleries downtown, the South Haven Center for the Arts features the works of local artists year-round, plus the annual Mistletoe Market
The up-and-coming Foundry Hall has brought performances by various groups with acoustic, rock, country, and blues filling the hall. The local theatre group, Our Town Players, performs at Listiak Auditorium several times throughout the year. The South Haven Performance Series brings classical and cultured music performances to the area. During the summer, enjoy a free outdoor concert at Riverfront Park every Thursday evening!
There's no doubt that summer is the most popular time to visit South Haven. Visitors can attend Harbor Fest, Blueberry Festival, Fine Arts Fair, All Craft Fair, the Festival of Cars, and more. Thursday nights bring free outdoor concerts at Riverfront Park and don't miss the farmers' market on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the spring, summer, and fall. The best-kept secret in South Haven is Ice Breaker Festival, held the first weekend in February with ice carving competitions and a free chili cook-off. In November, gather your gal pals for entertainment, bonding, shopping, and kicking up (or kicking off) your heels at the Women Only Weekend.
